Given the coronavirus pandemic, I am now more then ever working with most of my clients online, via Zoom or FaceTime.
There are challenges associated with working together via such communication mediums, as opposed to working face-to-face where interpersonal communication is more complete and even more effectively shared. Yet there also some advantages, such as the ease of scheduling an appointment, the elimination of commuting time and the opportunity for more frequent sessions when so required.
I am move regularly between Tokyo and Niseko, maintaining residences and offices in both locations. This creates an opportunity for a hybridization of both online and face-to-sessions. I also make trips to Sapporo when required to session with clients.
Finally, I work online with clients in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai and Beijing – as well as cities in the US – and occasionally visit these locations to meet with clients for intensive sessions.
