My Approach

I work with individuals ranging from young adults and older, most especially those moving through the changes of mid-life.  I take an integrative depth approach to psychotherapy that is grounded in the work of a number of theorists, most notably those of the interpersonal school and the analytical psychology of C.G. Jung.

Beneath your sometimes unpleasant symptoms of anxiety and/or depression, or difficulties in personal relationships, are opportunities for growth and change.  In our work together, we will seek these out.  Along the way, you may find resources that you did not know you have, or a dimension to yourself that has previously gone unseen.

More important than theory is that we develop a working relationship where trust is paramount as we explore your lived experience together.  My central aim is to help you discover new levels of conscious awareness and acceptance of your experience, and from here guide you “through, up and out” to a more satisfying life experience and more robust relationships.

Depth Coaching

I have worked with many people in front-side, client-facing, sales-oriented roles, helping individuals to optimize their performance.  I have also worked with students facing critical examinations.

You may find yourself at a plateau in your performance or perhaps encountering a stubborn block.  Or, you may simply feel driven to go to the next level of achievement yet not know how quite to get there.

Regardless of where you find yourself at present, the work of optimizing your performance will begin with a return to Core Beliefs, as it is your Core Beliefs that are directing your present performance.

And, yes, from here, I can help you break down and develop the more surface-oriented targets that will guide you in monitoring your performance in real time and achieving your objectives. This is actually the easy element of the mix, yet it does involve some homework!
